Virtual Tabletop Open Alpha
We're requesting some volunteers to help flesh out Virtual Tabletop (used to play 3d tabletop miniature wargames online). If you're interested, send an email to micah at racingspidergames.com. Conquest Engine for Campaigner
We're busy adding a new option for Campaigner! One that takes the tabletop out of the equation and makes Campaigner behave more like a regular strategy game. Using the Conquest engine instead of the standard Campaigner turn generator, we've turned Campaigner into an excellent war game. We're flushing out many of the ideas now, but one of the upcoming builds of Campaigner will include the option to use the Conquest engine instead of the standard one.
We're also quite tempted to release the interface for the Combat Engine so that .NET programmers can write their own... more on that to those who are interested.

RFG Updated to 1.0.6.0
We've changed the RFG tool to use weights instead of strict number to determine the random selection. For your old files this won't change anything, but for new lists, using a simple weight is much cleaner than duplicating the entry multiple times. This will take out some of the clutter from your lists.

Random Force Generator Utility
We've created a simple utility for generating random army lists. Not only does it help with random army lists, it can be used to generate a scenario, including the battle type and time of day. All you have to do is enter the options and then run the Force Builder which will randomize the options for you. You can get to it from here: RFG.

Campaigner Price Reduced
Campaigner, with all of the new features, including indicators and attributes is now $25.00. These additions, plus the 'Conquest' engine will be the final additions to Campaigner Suite 1.0

FlexMap Freely Available
We have taken FlexMap out of the Campaigner download so that you can download FlexMap even if you don't want the Campaigner Suite or demo. You can get FlexMap here.

Campaigner Released!
Campaigner is now available for purchase from the online store. Get the latest version here, and use your unlock key to play your own campaigns! You need the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 to run Campaigner.
Argost Assault Campaign
A new full campaign is shipping with the current release of Campaigner. New campaigns will be posted in the Campaigns section. We'll continue to add new generic campaigns and, we'll be accepting user-submitted campaigns as well.

Generic Templates
A series of generic templates are in the works, along with campaigns to go with them. We'll be releasing simple campaigns that can be used with any game system as time goes on. We assure you that there will be campaigns to play for the release of Campaigner.

Campaigner
Campaigner is a flexible and powerful tool for running campaigns for tabletop games such as Warhammer, Warhammer 40k, Mechwarrior, De Bellis Multitudinis and virtually any other game system that you can think of. The interface allows you to create custom rules for almost any action you need to take place in your game world. It also allows for the customization of playing pieces (called chits) to contain all the needed for the tracking and movement of your armies. Campaigner also allows for the creation of objectives and other important elements that contribute to the "Big Picture" of your campaign!
FlexMap
FlexMap is the companion to Campaigner, Virtual Tabletop and ChitBoard. It allows you to create maps of nearly any kind of environment you need for your campaigns and settings. This is possible by giving the map creator a system that allows him to create terrain features (using your own .BMP files) and edit features such as movement costs, terrain type and spotting difficulty.
Virtual Tabletop
Virtual Tabletop is the highly anticipated 3d environment that can be used to play tabletop miniature war games across the internet! Nearly any game system can be recreated with the easy to use tools and editable properties. This is not a game itself, it represents the actual tabletop and you will need 3d models to play games.
ChitBoard
ChitBoard is a simple chit utility that uses a FlexMap. You can add chits to the board, move them around and measure distance. While it doesn't calculate movement, detection or manage lists like Campaigner, it can be helpful during your campaigns or as an RPG mapping tool.
